Where Broadcaster Peter Shaw Finds God In Open-Heart Surgery
‘Our life is precious but it’s a bit fragile’
Broadcaster Peter Shaw started with Rhema Medic back in 1981. Having been involved with many roles during his time in Christian Media, some of Peter's highlights have been building a brand new station from scratch (Star back in 1997) and co hosting Star Breakfast with Cathy Jenke.
Peter went for a holiday break at the end of 2025. Having had some issues with shortness of breath and after a medical appointment he discovered he had a blocked artery and needed open heart surgery.
Peter shares of the challenges he's faced from recovering from his surgery, how precious life is and of how important his faith in God has been to sustain him through this challenging season.
